Caramelised Bananas + Chia Pod

Simple, sweet and oh-so-tasty.

Caramel and banana: the ultimate couple-goals, if you ask us.

You’ll need:

2 ripe bananas, sliced

2 tbsps coconut sugar or brown sugar

1 tbsp of nuttlex or non-dairy butter

2 tbsp non-dairy milk of your choice

A pinch of cinnamon

Here’s how:

  1. Place banana slices, sugar, “butter”, “milk” and cinnamon in a small frypan over medium heat.
  2. Cook until the mixture thickens, stirring occasionally and making sure to flip banana slices to ensure they’re totally covered in the caramel mixture.
  3. Empty a pot of Vanilla or Chocolate Fancy Plants Chia Pod into a bowl
  4. Spoon the bananas and caramel on top, and sprinkle with your favourite crumbly topping.
  5. Enjoy!
